  1. This is the latest version of the JVFAX FAX program.
  2.  
  3. Much has been changed in comparison with the older 4.1 version, and 
  4. a lot of new options have been added.
  5. Before running this program, you should print out the manual ENGLISH.DOC
  6. and read it carefully.
  7. This manual can be easily printed with 12 CPI character density.
  8. Use "COPY ENGLISH.DOC LPT1:", for example.

  10. An important notice to people who have been using a former program version in 
  11. conjunction with the "Simplest" interface:

  13. Voltage supply from the computer is now inverted, that means DTR delivers
  14. - voltage and RTS delivers + voltage.
  15. Also, converter output now must be fed into the DSR instead of the 
  16. RI input.
  17. By this, both the "Hamcomm" interface and the "PC HF-FAX" interface will
  18. run with this program.
